The Nevada County Superintendent of Schools is excited to announce that we will be hosting the Latino Family Festival on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Condon Park BBQ Pavilion area from 5 – 8 pm. This free event aims to connect the Latino community to the various resources and services available to children and families in Western Nevada County. Over fifteen non-profit organizations will be in attendance such as the Family Resource Center, First 5, Alliance for Workforce Development, Partners in English Language Learning, Department of Social Services, WIC, What’s up Wellness, Health & Human Services, Young Parents Project, Community Beyond Violence, and so many more. Families are encouraged to attend as entertainment will be provided by Mariachi Los Versatiles and Ballet Folklorico. Kids will enjoy face-painting, balloons, snow-cones, and popcorn.
